How long, and what's your general interest(s) (food, history, arts, etc.)?
I'm guessing Minneapolis/St. Paul won't have the big city life any better than Seattle, but there's other things. Maybe some historical places (Fort Snelling, Grand Avenue/Summit Avenue, stone arch bridge, etc) would be of interest? You'd have to get transportation tho.
