I had a '99 model for 6 years, it was an excellent combine, other than rasp bars and a concave I had to do very little to it other than service. I ran a 925 bean head on mine and a 693 corn head, I learned to tighten the concave down to 10 or so in beans, that made a different machine out of it.
Exactly what he said. Don't use the recommended setting in soybeans. We struggled with this for a while and it was awful. Overall our 9510 was a good machine. Nothing compared to a 60 or 70 series, but solid. |
