Illinois | You can find a mid 90's model Tyler Patriot XL for under $30,000. They really are pretty trouble-free units. Probably the biggest problem you will find with those in that price range is rust and corrosion from years of chemical contact and not often enough cleaning. They ride good and have pretty good booms plus a 750 gallon tank. They aren't the best in steep hills due to power and balance, but you can get by if you watch how you do things. Parts are readily available from any Case-IH sprayer dealer, plus the engine is a Deere, so parts are easy to get for that too. | |
