I actually put a set from JD (RE62856) on a 4010 last week. Surprisingly, I found the JD kit was cheaper than after market by the time you added the optional hand rail and extra bracket needed for the 10/20 series. I also read on another web site where someone commented that the JD step is more rigid than the after market which would flex some under load. Even treated the old girl to a new Made in the USA K&N seat.


I have to agree. I'm not sure on the shoup but the K&M ones are a little flimsy
