north central Kansas | I pulled a J&M 875 400 miles with a F250 and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I'm not familiar with the 840 but it looks like it's a little heavier by its specs 11,500# vs 9300# and tongue weight of 2200# vs 1300#. The weight wasn't overwhelming but I was conscious of stopping distance all the time. There was plenty of wind resistance at 55 mph. There is a fair amount of tongue weight difference between the two which might feel like a lot on the road. | |
