Pull the valve cover and make sure both valves on #1 are closed, timing hole should line up by rocking the crank a few deg. each way. When you do find the timing mark use a marker pen or paint so it will be easier to find next time. It helps if you marks the pump and timing cover with a punch to set the timing in the injector pump window before removing the pump.
