Haven't ran mine yet this year so I am a little rusty.  To start, make sure the twine tensioners are rolling free.  I have to sometimes adjust tension on the billhook when changing balls of twine if from a different company or to start out the year.  Also look at the tails on the knots that are holding together and read the book to see what needs adjusting.  Sorry I am not great help, but thanks for getting my mind thinking about it.
