Subject: Planting beans into brown cover pics

Mercer County, Ohio on the Indiana line
Here are a few pics of planning in the brown cover.

180,000 pop with a 8608 White. 1 Martin spike, 1 yetter, keeton seed firmers, notill coulters. I've got water in the planter tank. I might need the two 55 gallon drums filled by days end.

The cover is rye grass, but crimson clover, vetch, and radishes were all flown into standing beans Labor Day last year.

Two quarts of round up powermax smoked the ryegrass pretty well. Tank mix included authority, 5 gal synergize (AMS) per 1000 gal and authority mtz. All sprayed at 20 GPA with tee jet flat fans.
