It's no help now, but next year plant roundup ready alfalfa. I only plant RR alfalfa. Plant in early June after the ground warms up good. No worries on grass and weeds.
I planted my first RR alfalfa this spring primarily because the seed company gave me half the seed for a test plot. Do you do the RR spray at the three trifoliate stage? After establishment do you spray annually or as needed? If you sell the hay do you tell your customers it is RR? |
