Well.. still mostly waiting on sunshine.. caught a ugly down pour last week..about 2.50" in 3 days.. got my hopes up and killed the pivots.. then checked this morning.. and about 5 miles away.. zippo.. but more chances today.. Come on BABY.. bring sunshine

Moisture probe this morning.. could easily probe... hmmm.. about the top 2".. then needed boots to go any deeper.. "okay.. SEVERE Moisture at THIS spot.." checking over there.. 2.5".. 1.75" etc.. "wet."

We're up to 10.60" inches of precip for the year.. ( complaining) and the cornies are IN Critical peak water .. we got a decent dark wet look..NO dieses pressure.. (takes a planted crop for that..) but mid afternoon shows a pale dark blue cast.. each HOUR that we delay on sunshine is costing yield now boys.. Some patches have already hit the wall and turning yellow.. so.. nail biting time all the way to the finish line this year.

IF it would JUST SHINE.. we could plant some bushels.. if we bust out on this one.. we're done on the 14 corn.. If it would shine we could extend the fill period.. well last week's 2 inch's added about 4 to 5 days of.. "looking/feeling" pretty bad..

"High hopes.. he's got.. high hopes..:"

Like it or not.. my $$$ is on the ram.. Come on baby.
