Something sounds very fishy about this thing... There should not be clutch problems on something that just had the transmission done... Personally I'd be very worried about low pressure leak in the charge system and mabey multiple problems in the hi-lo. You don't rebuild a transmission and then dump the tractor. There's something wrong with the damn thing that someone either doesn't know how to fix or is so expensive to fix it's not worth fixing. A grand for a dry clutch is not the straw that broke the camel's back...
Hydraulic system is plain old closed center. As far as I know that model does not have load sensing. It's full pressure on demand all the time. Open a port and add a line, anywhere. No fuss, no muss. Only downside is that the system may run hot if you place a continuous demand on it.
Axles could either be bar or flange, depending...
