Subject: RE: Comparative analysis cattle vs corn

western iowa,by Denison
waste of time-people are going to do what they want wither crops -cattle or pasture-if you have desire to have cows you will have them if not you wont-pretty simple in Iowa-most crop farmers dont want the work or have a plate full crop farming-lots of cow guys have figured out here to take advantage of by products-corn stalks-also cattle feeders trying there best to make use of all crops and by products-the biggest thing to cross is the epa and dnr rules which will effect all farmers-either crop or livestock
with cows pushing $3,000 for pairs and feeder cattle approaching $1400 a head and crop ground at $14,000 who are we fooling-it has taken away to get into farming and made it 10 fold cost
Maybe a person should do a compartive analysis of what is better $1,000 to get into farming or $100,000 to get into farming today
One thing about human nature-lots of humans generate to what is easiest-not what is hardest-
Very few farmers understand infrastructure-and are not willing to spend a dime-that generates a penny -but will generate a second life time of dimes for the next generation
