Subject: RE: Found these arrowheads while walking corn

Franklinton, LA
Apparently the Indians moved around and did some trading. Several years back my two sons and I were looking for Indian Artifacts in a cotton field on the Yazoo River a few miles north of Yazoo City, MS. My youngest son was 6 years old when he found a beautiful white quartz spear point about 2 1/2" long X 1 1/4" wide. They do not have any quartz in Mississippi. Several cotton fields along the Yazoo River have areas with a lot of white mussel shells. Apparently the Indians had camps along the river and ate a lot of mussels.
