I hear you both but Flex ears at higher pops and high fertility work very well for me. My highest yielding is First Choice 808 followed by AgriGold 6533 or LG 2620(work well striped or split planter) followed by First Choice 805 and Porter 4514(similar to 6533 2620 and work well striped). Ed
