| I have been looking at these simple systems versus the PTAC units commonly used in hotel/motels. Has anyone got any suggestions on these? Mitsubishi makes one that looks simple and is not all that pricey. They claim the unit is precharged, so you just hang it on the wall, wire it, plumb it to the outside unit with provided coolant line, and your ready to roll. I think you surely would pull the vaccume, but I have not talked to any dealers yet. They claim to run more but use less electricity as they dont have the compressor start up draw and dont work so hard to cool as fast then kick off.
