If they can't expect a farmer to get done in 2-3 days, why should the farmer expect them to bail him out? Much less guarantee a profit?
There's a local custom cutter who just bought 3 new combines this last winter when all the wheat looked decent. No wheat crop for a big chunk of his run. How much crop insurance is he going to get?
