Central Minnesota
May 31 for corn, June 10 for soybeans.

PP won't pay on corn near as good this year. Whatever corn you can't plant by the 31st, switch to beans. 40 bushel beans by June 10 will stay pay way better than PP on corn.

The forecast this morning on Channel 5 is the best forecast I've seen in a long time! 20% chance of rain on Thursday and 70 by sunday, 72 next Monday. So we will have a little drying weather by the weekend.

The neighbors have a lift pump on a 70 acre piece. The indicator light for it is right next to the road. That light has been on for over 2 weeks straight now. And the lower spots still have water standing in them.

If farming was easy, would it be near as much fun?
