Buxton ND | I could pick up some producers selling prior to the January report and there was a jump in the non-reportable short positions. Most times its hard to pick cause I'd guess much of producer selling is done though the commercial and shows up on the commercial side of things on the COT report.
I should add from above on still lacking the the major spec money like we had in 2011. I think its Euro-land money that is lacking,you used to be able to pick out the Euro opening in our over-night corn markets pretty easy but the last 1.5/2 years its just not there. Massive/MASSIVE selling volume as Euro-land opened whatever day it was Labor Dayish 2011 was the night that topped the corn market that year.....
