Subject: RE: Question for those that do tillage or used to do tillage on soybeans

Morris, IL
Last year was our first year for a pre on soybeans. We sprayed Authority XL soon after planting a conventional till 30" soybean field. One field we were not able to finish due to wind and then rain and then time window ran out. You could see to the foot where that was. The area that didn't get pre had more corn growing as well as everything else. Very eye opening. My grandfather was questioning if the 9$ an acre would be worth it, after seeing that field it was pretty easy to justify it this year. If you running drilled beans and a good pre i don't think you would hardly need a post most years.
