FWIW have mixed wheat seed 1 part with about 3 parts fertilizer and blew it on with a TerraGator works fine. Keep in mind the mix maybe spent a couple hours on a truck and floater then was mixed in dirt with a field cultivator. If you wash the drill spotless every day you will be ok.
