Progress always has naysayers like me, and I just want to recognize that ahead of time. ;). Progress happens despite such as me.....

So if one gets 200bu yields with a 30 inch planter at 34,000 seeds....

This planter has 3x as many spendy parts. How long between rebuilds on a row unit? It appears that is a 74 row planter?

And they are planting 35% more seed per acre.

What are the extra costs per acre per year to run that rig?

How much extra yield does one need to break even? How much extra does one need to yield to make the extra expenses a worthwhile gamble?

I'm so far removed from a new planter I can't do the math myself.....

Anyhow nice pics, interesting stuff.

Paul
