If you are doing the field work after beans come off Cereal Rye will be your only choice. Planting oats or Barley in November there is not enough heat or sunlight for proper germ or establishment. If you are going to burn off the Cereal Rye in the vegetatve stage there is little to fear in front of corn, especially if rates are low (less than 20lbs/A), you just have to add a little more N in your program.
