| I don't know what the deal is with people hating beacons, I had one on every self propelled piece of equipment I have exept the combine and one tractor with no cab or canopy. What's the problem with being safe on the road? You have to be awfully careless and down right stupid to hate beacons.
If you are worried about drawing too much power of the flasher circuit, get an automotive relay, hook one wire to the battery, the other to the beacon. Then tap into a power wire for the flashers and another wire to ground. Make sure the wire from the battery has a fuse.
