If you lower on the go, the marker gets to the ground 20 feet down the row. When you lift on the go you leave a few feet of seed on top the ground, that length depends on the slop in the link to the clutch. I separated the hydraulics for the marker and the lift so I can have marker to the end of the row. Those seed on the ground can be a handy indicator that the planter is working if you don't trust the monitor.
