do NOT return that oil to the case drain. jd part # AA40149 is the motor return hose tip you want. it has a check valve in it so you cant run it backwards and it opens up a normal iso female coupler when plugged in, unlike the old open tipped ends. my preffered way to return orbit motor oil to deeres is to remove the plug from the side of the scv body and put in (1) AA43396 elbow, (1) R63922, and one o-ring thread ISO female coupler. you will then have a dedicated motor return coupler on the tractor and ready to go at any time. returning the oil into the scv couplers is just fine in theory but gets ugly if you stop the orbit motor by going to neutral instead of float. putting this dedicated motor return coupler on your tractor virtually eliminates blowing out the orbit motor seals.
