I have traveled through the TX and OK Panhandles last summer and last month. It looks even worse out there as they are in a three year drought. The grass last summer looked like grass does here in winter, short and dead. Fence rows and road ditches filled with blown soil and tumble weeds.
At least we had some summer crops last year, not looking good here now.
