SC Iowa | Pic 1 shows where the row unit is on the strip and pic 2 what things look like after. The field was turbo-maxed at an angle, then strip-tilled. Could not seem to keep the planter in the middle of the strip. Have never seen strips be hard, but not much softer than if it had been no-tilled. I have always wondered why some people "freshen" strips in spring until this year. Is anything that could have helped keep the planter on the strip? I was actually driving an inch or two to the one side of center so the planter would fall off one side of the strip to keep guess rows consistent.
