East Central Arkansas

I am bedding 8 38" rows and using either a JD 4840 or 4760 tractor so around 200 hp. The real issue is the weight of the plow and being able to pick it up with the 3 pt hitch. It takes a lot of ballast on the front of the tractor. All of my farm lays together so I don't have to move around on the hwy. Yes all my soil is mostly a silt loam soil. We have some areas in field where we have made cuts from land leveling that are more clay. This implement was originally set up with subsoiler shanks in every other middle but didn't have enough tractor for that.
