EC Nebraska | I would be running as much AMS out there as your budget allows. It will temporarily lower the pH in the top couple inches of soil for a couple months. Applying it close to planting (either before or after) will get the most benefit. I run 100 lbs AMS on 120 bpa yield ground.
There really isn't much you can do to "fix" high pH, just bandaids. Bandaids can pay, however. With that calcium level, don't apply gypsum. Last thing you need is more calcium. | |
