I like 9760guy's answer better tho... for long term manure is like magic IMO.... not an overnight answer, but long term soil fertility building. I think cover crops would help with that as well, especially in building OM, but I have not implemented them yet. Was hoping to plant some last fall but harvest went late. Have made some appropriate changes for this year tho to be sure and have an opportunity to plant some if I desire.
