| Yes I would still use my 4row wide 1044 corn head on a1440 IH. I would look at a 8 row 30" planter to get more done,same reason for looking at an 8 row wide; Dads not able to help as much (hip replacement).I can run a 4 rn or 6rn on a 1440.If I ever upgrade combines(maybe a 1660) can't use a4 rn head but I could an 8 rn.A 6 row head would mean guidance and auto steer on planter, 12,000.00 I was told.Thanks for the help, I guess I'll make a decision within my budget. | |
