King City, Mo | My cereal rye is about to over take the standing wheat straw. It was seeding late last summer. I only put 100# ams plus a little map for N on it so you could kick it up with more N for more growth.
I'm planning to plant into mine and not hay it off. I might add some more n next year on the field I can graze as the cows are loving it this year. It's also letting my pasture get a good start and my crop fiel is getting the manure so that's a plus too.
