| Yesterday in a thread about nh3 prices, I stated I'm applying .41 nh3 now, and felt that was a pretty doggone decent price in a $4.65 corn environment, and you weighed in and stated it is way overpriced. For a little bit made me feel like maybe I am not getting the best deal, until I did some math. I also stated I was paying around .28 for nh3 when corn was $2.40 after receiving a ldp. Well that "cheap" nh3 was 10.4 percent of my gross for a 180 bushel yield goal. (160 units) well my now "overpriced" .41 nh3 is only 7.8 percent of my same yield goal of 180. What do you feel is a fair price we should be paying? | |
