SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
My recs are 140000 to 165000 depending on soil temps, planting dates or forecasts .regardless of row width. Have seen pops as low as 75000 after hail do better than replants, depending on planting date.my Job is to get farmers higher yields thru better variety selection and correct agronomic desicions. I am a farmer myself so I do alot of mapping of varieties and numerous plots every year on my farms. Also utilize data from dealers and other farmers. There are alot of narrow row bns planted in this area.
