I ran a drill bit the next size larger than the current inside diameter inside of the TT and shoving a piece of small plastic fertilizer tube inside till it hangs out the end about an inch. If you happen to set the planter down it shouldn't get dirt up inside the tube and plug it. I also wonder if doing this will decrease the diameter enough to create a little more pressure much like when you restrict a garden hose and the higher pressure will help keep it open better also. I guess I will find out if it ever becomes planting season | |
