Looks good. I need to do about three of those in a gullied waterway. Since our deer population exploded, their trails (they travel in the lowest terrain here) become bare channels in the bottom of the WW, which cut out and form gullies.

1. Why is the fabric needed? To suppress vegetation? Here, I was hoping to sprig Bermuda to help hold the rocks.

2. Do you have a flat section at the bottom?

3. What max slope are you comfortable with, in the chute bottom?
