You plant closer, thus the beans block out the sunlight to the ground faster.
As others have said. If you are buying all new equ...then pick one and go. It's hard to justify a 20" corn head if you have a 30" in the shed in prime shape.
Spraying will be the other issue. You will have to drive opp of planting so you don't know down as much. | |
