N.W. Illinois
Our Sidekick system has never seen Force CS before today so it is impossible to be wore out or have frozen product in it. Tried another coupler and that coupler did not leak. However the Sidekick requires you to run a lone box of CS through the coupler in the picture because this one has the check valve in the feed line. We did not want to load all 4 boxes just in case something like this happened.
The big problem is how do you replace a coupler with out even more exposure.
Syngenta needs to reformulate the Force CS to make it more user friendly. There are to many things to go wrong with the present system, it is way to complicated. Another thing is when something like this happens who is responsible or accepts responsibility? Raven? Syngenta? The people who sold it to us? And for some with a green planter, John Deere?
We have used Capture a number of years and it has run it's course for us. We could see it's effectiveness waning last year. Our planter is not set up for dry and we do not have room for the insecticide boxes.
On the bright side the Envizio Pro and the rest of the Sidekick were working well which was a surprise.
