Farmington IL | This was discussed just yesterday standing outside our shop doors. I have been slowly planting corn this week. Some guys are running wide open others have yet to start. Yesterday morning soil temp was 42f where I had planted on Wednesday. Forecast is warm today followed with cooler and 4 days of rain with heavy rain accumulations. I didn't plant yesterday and won't plant today. In my past observations I have always been at least as well off being patient and trying to get a near ideal window to plant. I would have waited. | |
