It is very fine material and will go to work very quickly. It will change the pH fast. Because of the grind and it's speed of going to work the neutralizing value is very high. Doesn't take much to make a change. Likewise because you aren't using much the pH rise will turn a lot quicker than regular Lime. Many people say it runs out faster. That's because it goes to work faster.

I think you should track your pH with soil tests the first few years to be sure you aren't over applying.

This lime is usually wet, even after setting a year, so evenness of spread is very important. I don't feel the sides-lingers that have been used here are the best tool for doing the job.
