Tell me what the weather is going to do, if you are dry and remaining dry kill now. If there looks like lot of rain the next 2 weeks or more let it grow. At the NNTC a speaker talked about stuting the rye with 24d and bean preemergence herb at 18 inches than killing after planting. Picking the right time to terminate cover crop is giving me alot to think about. Last year I had 20 acres I let grow it was headed and forming seed when the weather got right and I killed it with Gramozone and metribuzine for quick kill worked good did cost a little more.
