King City, Mo | I'm gonna plant into mine green. Then spray it with gramoxone, sencor, zidua, prowl and scepter.
Prob over kill on chems but I'm done with twh.
The rye should suppress the weeds but just in case hit the residuals hard.
If it works like I'm hoping I will only use gramoxone and sencor next year.
My fields of rye are right along BB northwest of king city so if I have a mess everyone at the coffee shop will have something to talk about. ;)
If the planter gives me trouble planting into it I can always hay the rye off. Lots of fertilizer plus this rain should give me lots of growth, by mid next week it will be taller then the standing wheat straw.
