Subject: Termination of Rye cover

I have several acres of Rye cover that's needs sprayed sometime. When would be best if planting occurred May 10th now or later. If I was using a residual on all my burn downs will that be a problem with all this material get chemical in soils? Valor would be used along with round up and 2-4D
