I'm seeing the same thing in our wheat that's actually survived to make it to the boot stage-probably even shorter than that. The other thing i'm seeing is that in a lot of fields the april 15 freeze wiped out a lot of tillers and naturally the best ones took the biggest hit.
Shortest wheat I've ever seen heading out.
