Couple of suggestions on canola. Get a good stand in the fall. I like 15 or 20 inch spacing. Seed is about $40/acre. It hates weed competition. Then figure out how to harvest it. It scatters easily. I put it in windrows then use a pickup header. Since your in Missouri, harvesting it may be your biggest issue because of the weather.
