Yesterday I spoke with someone trying to put up some fence posts. He says the ground is still frozen a foot down. A backhoe operator says he is seeing the same thing.  Trees are barely even starting to bud.  What isn't frozen is mud around here in SW WI. Finally some sun today but 50%-80% chance of rain and lows in or close to the 30s every day over the next 10 days which puts us into May. Not a wheel turned in fields that I have seen.
