Saronville NE
I put WAY more miles on a pickup then I do a semi, but our cost on semi to own per mile including insurance, repairs, etc, is way higher to own then a pickup. Have a 09 Dodge Megacab w 6.7 in it, it has been hooked to stock trailer since Nov and hasn't been unhooked yet, have put about 6k miles on it just pulling trailer since then. We bought it to pull trailer. I could use a SA truck, but get half the mileage, ins is higher, repairs pry would be too. I put new tires on my 09 and that's all Ive had to do to it since I got it last Sept. Have put 9k miles on it total so far.

Our KW cost us almost $1.50 a mile to operate last year, that's repairs and insurance, that is high, but we don't put 2500 miles a yr on it. Actually on a diesel, sitting around not getting used is pry the hardest thing on them.
