Subject: RE: how long are your corn plots?

Beresford, SD
Planting a silage plot on Sat for DeKalb. 1/4 mile long and 4 rows wide. Plot will be about 200 yards from bunker, will be weighed with my feed wagon pulled along side cutter. Going to be 8 hybrids. 103 to 112 day maturity. Last year DKC 58-87 Smart Stax won by over 10%. Planting an 80 tomorrow to 58-87 with the intent of making silage out of it. Dads corn and bean plots will be 4 rows about 200 yards long. Monsanto rents 40 acres from me and replicates hybrids across the whole 40. 2 rows for 20'. Planted with a space age computer controlled planter and harvested with a NH twin rotor picking and testing 2 different hybrids at the same time.
