Subject: RE: Closing wheels

SE PA
John,
as far as closing wheels- there are many options. I have found the ones to be more like Thompson Closing wheels with the toe out wedge to be the most versatile in "root-mass" conditions. they require little down pressure and once adjusted properly work very well. What i like to do is ride behind the planter on a four wheeler and watch the closing wheels work. Adjustments can be made as needed.
