I think it's time stop investing in ANY ethanol. It's been long enough. If it's going to be a successful business model, it's time it stands completely on it's own. No RFS, no lobbies, and, if any remain, no subsidies.

What did Henry Ford's first automobiles run on, and why was he forced to switch to petroleum fuel?
Who forced him to make the switch?

Edison had some trouble with the Big Oil, too.


Again, I'm not understanding how those questions pertain to the issues discussed in this thread, or how they relate to current policies.


Because in order to stand on it's own it would have to be a level playing field. With petroleum based fuels getting subsidies and ethanol based not, it would therefore not be a level playing field.
